Lionel Loueke Jazz Trio in Concert at Comstock Hall Friday February 3rd
Praised by his mentor Herbie Hancock as "a musical painter," Loueke combines harmonic sophistication, soaring melody, a deep knowledge of African music, and conventional and extended guitar techniques to create a warm and evocative sound of his own.
Lionel Loueke will be appearing with Ferenc Nemeth and Massimo Biolcati at the Comstock Concert Hall on the University of Louisville School of Music campus on Friday, February 3 at 8:00 pm. Tickets ate $17 for general admission and $5 for students.
